5 Things You Should Know For Tuesday, June 28—An Educational Sidewalk Sale and Historic Walking Tour

Parents and educators of District 304 can attend an emergency preparedness seminar sponsored in part by the United States Department of Education.

Another interesting day in Geneva. We really like the History Center tour of the East Side, in large part because the Geneva Patch Editor is a proud East Sider.

1. Take a guided walking tour of Geneva's east side with educator Margaret Selakovich at 7 p.m. and see historic homes while learning more about Geneva's past. This 75 minute tour will take you through some of Geneva's more overlooked historical neighborhoods featuring everything from quaint cottages to large homes.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for Geneva History Center members and students. Interested participants should meet on Nebraska Street, just south of the Malone Funeral Home located at 324 E. State St. Please click to find more information on the event.
