Geneva Green Market Sets Up Shop in New Location
This Thursday in Geneva brings National Raspberry Cream Pie Day, "The Hunger Games" at the pool, Geneva Green Market and "Change the Story" at the Geneva First Baptist Church.
We didn't notice it until just now, but there's kind of a "hunger" theme going on with our suggestions for Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013.

The Geneva Green Market has a new location in front of ACE Hardware at Sixth and State streets. Fresh produce can be found at the market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays through October.
National Raspberry Cream Pie Day
(We are not making this up.)
Thursday is National Raspberry Cream Pie Day. Could we possibly get more obscure? If I were getting a raspberry cream pie in Geneva, I might try the Sugar Path at 315 W. State. Paula and I went there the other night and had a delicious piece of pie.
Teen Movie Night - "The Hunger Games"
Teens enjoy exclusive access and a poolside screening of The Hunger Games at Sunset Pool’s Teen Night, from 8 to 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1. Cost is $5 per person ($6 non-resident). Sunset Pool is located at 710 Western Avenue, Geneva. For more information, call 630.232.4542 or visit genevaparks.org.
