Underage Drinking Arrest Goes With Speeding 74 MPH on Fabyan Parkway

The following information was supplied by the Geneva and Batavia police departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva and Batavia police underage drinking arrests include two that involved speeding, as well. In one case, a 19-year-old was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 45 mph zone. Here is a roundup from both communities:

Liquor Act Violation—Geneva police cited Darryl Hudson, 19, of Geneva for speeding 74 mph in a 45 mph zone and for possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop around 9:04 a.m. May 25 in the 1000 block of East Fabyan Parkway, reports said. Hudson has a court date of June 18 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 South Randall Road for the speeding charge. The underage drinking citation carries a $250 fine if paid by its due date.

Liquor Act Violation—Geneva police cited John A. Lardas III, 20, of Geneva for consumption of alcohol by a minor and speeding 39 mph in a 25 mph zone around 1:09 a.m. May 26 in the 400 block of West State Street, reports said. He has a court date of June 11 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, for the speeding violation. The underage drinking violation carries a $250 fine if paid by its due date.

Underage Drinking—Geneva police cited Zachary Duncan, 18, of Blue Island for illegal consumption of alcohol around 12:11 a.m. May 15 in the 500 block of South Third Street, reports said. The citation carries a fine of $250 if paid by its due date.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor—Police arrested Andrew Fecteau, 18, of St. Charles for illegal transportation of alcohol and for possession of alcohol by a minor around 4:43 p.m. May 30, reports said. He posted $150 bond and has a court date of July 9.
