Soap Box Derby Loads Of All-American Fun At Swedish Day

If you've never seen a Soap Box Derby, you have to get to downtown Geneva prior to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Racers are going down the track on Second Street between Campbell and Fulton Street, one after the other in virtually nonstop action.

The drama for young derby drivers and their families is competitive and spirited, friendly and sportsmanlike.

The winners advance to the national competition, and you can see that these folks know what they're doing. There's a great deal of wholesome fun at the All-American Soapbox Derby at Swedish Days in Geneva.
