Tom Parisi began his career in 1986 as a reporter with the Geneva Republican. He has worked as an editor, reporter and columnist for the St. Charles Republican, Beacon News and Batavia Sun, and has contributed stories to the Chicago Tribune. He now works in media and public relations at Northern Illinois University, where he covers the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He lives in Batavia with his wife and three college-age daughters.
