Eliza is such a bright and well-spoken role model for her cause "Hear the Cheers!" She has raised so much awareness and funds in such little time. I am proud to be a Lion and support her efforts.

You guys are such good marketers! What a wonderful Youtube to promote the event - and you were so gracious that you didn't even just ask people to vote for the two of you but instead to support the organizations. Thanks for all you do to support the community. Can't wait to see you dance.

Mike, I was thinking the same thing about Fourth Street School. That area is a much better fit for homes or residential development. I would be happy to assist with such a plan.

Find it even harder to believe after reading a second article in the newspaper today on land that the school board wants to sell for $2.2 million. Sell it and invest in Coultrap's preservation. http://www.kcchronicle.com/2013/01/15/district-304-to-sell-28-acres/alu1koj/

Great comments and creative options. Watch the Geneva History Center's latest GHC Minute on the Swedish Lutheran Church that includes video of the demolition of the building as a visual of such a loss. http://youtu.be/9byVltsM94E

Mr. Morris was a great man. I was not only lucky to have him as a Biology teacher but worked closely with him when I was a class officer (GHS Class of 1982) and he was our class sponsor. Mr. Morris always told great stories of his former students as he rubbed his necktie and finished with "That's it, all in a nutshell."

Can't wait to see the redesign. We were pleased to work with Starbucks. Look for historical Geneva images from the Geneva History Center archives.

This lot is right behind the Geneva History Center. A great place to park and visit GHC's new exhibition "Start With A Sketch" on cartoonists, illustrators and voice characters in the community!
