No, he does not. Freedom of speech doesn't mean you get to say anything you want to anywhere you want to. No one has the "right" to launch into a tirade in front of a class of kindergarteners inside an elementary school. If he were a "responsible citizen", he would have asked for a meeting with the principal or addressed a meeting of the school board about his concerns. He has no right to harangue the kindergarteners about it.

ReplyThe district's statement seems to suggest he used rough language in front of a kindergarten class. If he had legitimate concerns about something, the adult thing to do is to talk to the principal or other faculty member in relative private. His response wasn't "human", as one poster said; it was aberrant. I have had issues with my children's schools on a few occasions, and have managed not to shout obscenities at staff in front of students.

Yeah, and he became an Eagle Scout in 1989, so he must have worked for the Secret Service when he was 17. A remarkable guy. His profile also indicates that he has a substitute teacher's license and is a volunteer at Mill Creek School.
