Monday night at 7pm

*****Attention*****
We want clean, uncontaminated Water for Greenridge Residents

A year ago the Selectman said it was important - yet all we got was more roadblocks to our solutions.... and no clean water. Unacceptable Mr. Selectman, unacceptable.
My family has urinary problems - does yours? hmm maybe from heavy metal laced water?
I have to pay for water twice, don't you?
Enough of interference to stop us from having clean, drinkable water.
Monday Night at 7pm - Come out and be heard. Call your selctman and United water and get answers - be heard Greenridge - be heard!! Water is the NUMBER 1 utility and we deserved not to have any issues health or financial with it let alone 10 years of asking for potable water,,,, Call and rise up so we have water before the snow.......? Just remember the Selectman does not live in Greenridge so why would he care if we have clean water or not?! We should have transparencey about all financial transactions in regard to any involvment - do any of the parties own stock in a utility? We need to make sure that no one is benefitting finacially from our water plan and put that transparance into place so noone benefits via payoffs from this water deal - it is clear to me that there are individuals who are interferring with our water plan - for financial gain. Let's get the cog out of our water works once and for all. Call Marty - call the folks who have organized this and call UNITED WATER to get the facts.

Hey Aaron,

I'm Chelsey Gonzalez and I am one of the editors for the BHS litmag. We are a club that supports all types of art. Kinda of a creative group I guess. SO anyway we are having an open mic soon at WMS. Maybe you would like to do a story about it. It's on December 17th. Hope you can check it out.

Hello Aaron - I posted this on Warren Websters page this morning and just noted that you are the Editor of The Brookfield Patch. Perhaps you will address my concern.
Warren, I was appalled to see that you allow your team to include the ADDRESS of the DECEASED in OBITUARY listings. For obvious reasons - burglary/theft at the time of publicly listed services at the home of the deceased to begin with - this is a horrible policy. Further if the individual was single at the unfortunate time of their demise - making this information easily available to the general public increases the chance for foul play at their former residence.
Please!! immediately inform your team that while the technology enabling instant access to location information is standard fare today - this is an inappropriate use of the technology.
I have a loved one who recently died and I am outraged to see their address (on a map) included in your obituary listing.

Regards,

Jennifer

GREAT SITE AARON!!!
You have done a great job keeping up with the action and news of our little ole town!! That seems to have an ever increasing amount of action. There are a few inaccuracy's but that's expected with all journalism. Perhaps you can think about the way you have written information about the fire dept. By the sounds of it the Candlewood Volunteer Fire Dept. goes only on the calls on the west side of town. I don't believe that's accurate. I do know that both departments work together almost flawlessly to cover jointly the entire population of Brookfield. Meaning Candlewood will respond to any fire call in town, just as Brookfield Volunteer would. As far as it goes with people telling you, your inaccurate and what not, I contest that. Compared to some other news information company's that are drastically larger than yours. I would say your doing an amazing job KEEP IT UP!!!
