Police Thursday afternoon identified the Batavia woman who died at the scene of a head-on collision on Randall Road. The woman is 43-year-old Amy P. Holtorf, according to Batavia police. Holtorf was traveling northbound on Randall Road just south of Mill Creek when her 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan crossed the center lane and struck a 2012 Nissan Rogue traveling southbound, a police statement said. The crash occurred at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday. An occupant of the Nissan crossover SUV was flown by helicopter to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in serious to critical condition. Update: Police Thursday afternoon identified the Batavia woman who died at the scene of the crash. A Batavia woman died in a two-car crash on Randall Road Wednesday night, according to police. An Aurora couple was also injured in the crash, which occurred at 11:52 p.m. Wednesday. The husband driver was airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove in critical condition, said Gary Schira, Batavia police chief. The wife was treated, released and was believed to be at her husband's side Thursday morning, Schira said. He did not have a current condition report for the man.
