Eighteen contestants will perform at Geneva's Got Talent Semi-Finals in June during Swedish Days.
Eighteen will be the lucky number for one winner of the 2013 Geneva's Got Talent competition. Also, 1,000—as in 1,000 smackers, 1,000 clams, $1,000 cash. Auditions were held May 18, when contestants vied for a chance to perform at the semi-finals during the Swedish Days Festival presented by Cadence Health. Eighteen semifinalists won the chance to perform and win your applause when online voting begins June 18. The talent level was extremely high, according to judges Heather Klaus, Dan Yotz, Eric Elftmann and Steve Lord. These contestants will compete at 6:30 p.m., June 19, 2013, on Geneva's Central Stage. Deadlines are fast approaching for participation in a number of popular Swedish Days events, including the Geneva's Got Talent competition, the Swedish Days parade and the renowned Granquist Music Competition. May 8 — Geneva’s Got Talent applications must be received in the Geneva Chamber of Commerce office by this date. Twenty-one contestants will compete on June 20 in the semi-finals of Geneva's Got Talent.
On May 20, 75 Geneva’s Got Talent contestants auditioned for a chance to perform at the semi-finals during the Swedish Days Festival presented by Cadence Health. The talent level was extremely high and judges Heather Klaus, Beckie Untiedt, Mary Hooper and Steve Lord chose 21 contestants to move forward. These contestants will compete on Central Stage at 6:30 pm, June 20. Judges votes combined with public Facebook votes will carry a select number to the finals on June 23. May 15—Geneva’s Got Talent applications must be received in our office by this date. Only the first 75 applications received will be invited to audition on May 20 for a chance to perform during Swedish Days and win $1,000 First Place cash prize. May 15—Represent your organization and/or business in the 63rd Swedish Days Parade on June 24. There is no application fee.
