It’s pins-and-needles time for Geneva High School seniors awaiting admission notification from the University of Illinois. The hour of 5 p.m. Friday is D (as in Decision!) Day, one of two admissions notification dates for the state’s flagship university. Students will be checking the website to find out if they’ve been admitted, deferred or denied. Expect Facebook postings to start popping up nearly immediately. School District 304 is reminding parents of middle school students that there's an important deadline Thursday. Registration packets at the middle school level are due on Thursday, July 14. Late registration packets will result in a delay in the mailing of the student schedules. "If there are financial concerns that are causing a delay in the mailing of the registration packet, please call the office to discuss alternative payment options," District 304 Connects says in an e-mail blast.
