The impact sends the Sonata into a spin, but fortunately, no one is hurt.
The driver of a Hyundai Sonata got a scare earlier this week but was not injured after a snowplow hit her car hard enough to spin it around in the west parking lot of Delnor Hospital, according to Geneva police reports. A New Holland 55441 skid steer with an affixed loader driven by Acencion Martinez, 39, of Aurora collided with the front of the Sonata drive by Terri Lynn, 52, of DeKalb around 8:12 a.m. Feb. 4 in the parking lot of Delnor Hospital, 300 South Randall Road, Geneva police reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to the Hyundai, and a tow was necessary after the crash, but no damage was reported to the skid steer. According to reports, Martinez was westbound, plowing snow out of the west parking lot of the hospital when …

Dark clothes may have made the pedestrian hard to see, according to the crash report from the Jan. 11 incident.
The 48-year-old Geneva man who was struck by a car on Fabyan Parkway earlier this month continues to be treated at Delnor Hospital, officials said. The man was admitted to Delnor Hospital on Jan. 11 and was still being treated late last week, a Cadence spokesman confirmed. Cadence is the health care system that operates Delnor Hospital. When asked for a condition report, the spokesman said HIPPA law restricts what type of information the hospital is allowed to disclose, with respect to patient privacy. The man was in the westbound lanes of Fabyan Parkway south of Allen Drive when he was struck by a 2011 Honda Accord at 6:32 p.m. Jan. 11, according to a Batavia police crash report. The Honda's driver, a 31-year-old Aurora woman, was cited …

A Dodge Intrepid driven by Timothy Lambert, 29, of Geneva, collided with the front of a Huffy Stone Mountain bicycle driven by Sherisse Holmes, 32, of Aurora around 7:17 p.m. June 15 at the intersection of Logan Avenue and West State Street, reports said.
