East Side, West Side, Alec Baldwin Was All Around the Town

Savvy Patch readers spot the famed actor all over the place, and his visit sounds like it did have to do with family.

As usual, the Patch commenters and Facebook friends responded to our questions and had far more to report on Alec Baldwin's recent visit. From the various reported celebrity sightings, the actor was all over the place, from Sounds Like Music and Geneva Running Outfitters to the Blue Goose and Wok 'N Fire. Yes, the very man who plays Santa Claus in Rise of the Guardians was ho-ho-ho-ing around the Tri-Cities for the Thanksgiving holiday. And at the same time our family was watching Rock of Ages "On Demand," the actor who played legendary rock club owner Dennis Dupree might have been damanding the fine ice cream at Kimmer's.

What Is Alec Baldwin Doing in Geneva, IL?

Reliable sources say Actor Alec Baldwin has been spending the last few days in sleepy, enchanting Geneva, IL.

This just in: Alec Baldwin has spent the last few days in Geneva. He's been spotted at Egg Harbor, Anytime Fitness and The Herrington Inn & Spa, according to sources. We can only wonder whether he stayed in the same Herrington Inn suite as Brian Urlacher and Jenny McCarthy, or whether he stayed overnight at all. Is there a Baldwin family tie in these parts? Was the Thanksgiving holiday the reason for his visit? Or is there some Chicago-area enterprise that brought him to our fair city? Were there any other Alec Baldwin sightings in the past few days? Let us know in the comments field.       Apparently, Alec Baldwin gets around these here United States. Here are just a few Patch articles where he's been spotted out and about.

He swam in the Fox River and went through the Mcdonald's drive-thru lane twice. He was seen withdrawing five dollar bills from an ATM. On his way out of town he stopped in the middle of State Street and declared Geneva a great place for cats and dogs.   more ›
