Beth Bales: Doors to Open on Clothing Sale
There will be a mad dash for the gym Friday evening when the Western Avenue School clothing sale opens it doors to great bargains.
It’s a chance to outfit your child for much less, and help out a Geneva elementary school all at the same time. It’s the semi-annual Western Avenue School PTO-run clothing sale. Doors open at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. And once those doors swing open, there will be a mad dash for great-looking clothes (uniforms, winter coats, Halloween costumes, trendy stuff, durable stuff all kinds of threads), as well as toys, sporting equipment, baby and kid gear and more. Strollers, as well as children 9 and younger are not allowed in the building on Friday evening. The sale ends at 9 p.m. that evening, and continues from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.
