West Street Neighborhood Hit With Car Burglary Spree

Five vehicles are broken into, all parked in driveways or the street in the area of West Street, West Lane and Maple Court between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

Some person or persons raided vehicles in the neighborhood east of Williamsburg Avenue and south of West State Street between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, according to Geneva police reports. Vehicle Burglary—Someone took a Garmin Global Positioning System (GPS) from a Ford Explorer parked in the 300 block of West Lane sometime between 10 p.m. Nov. 30 and 9:36 a.m. Dec. 1, Geneva police reports said. The vehicle was parked in the street and police found it with the passenger door partially open. Police canvassed the neighborhood and found that there was another burglary to a motor vehicle in the 100 block of Maple Court. The Garmin was valued at $75.
