Post Office Prices Increase

The cost to mail one ounce letter and postcards has increased starting today.

Prices at the post office are higher than ever.  Beginning today, the cost to mail a one ounce letter has increased to 46 cents a stamp. That’s up from 45 cents in 2012. Mailing a postcard also costs one penny more at 33 cents. The same increase was imposed in 2012.   For more than seven decades, the dedicated staff at the Geneva Post Office has served the townspeople in rain, snow, sleet and hail. But on a sunny Monday morning, there were few townspeople to be seen at the building on State Street.
