Well, you should. Here's some advice from the Kane County Green Guide.

Be honest. Do you know the proper way to dispose of batteries in St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia? Well, here's what the Kane County Green Guide has to say about it, courtesy of the Kane County Division of Environmental Resources. (Be honest. Did you even know there was a Kane County Division of Environmental Resources?) The best way to reduce waste is to invest in a battery charger and rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries make better use of resources, because you can use them multiple times before recycling them! And they are recyclable at most hardware stores. Geneva Gas Guide: Prices Drop Bigtime

Use our weekly guide to find the lowest gasoline prices in the Tri-Cities of Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles.

National average gasoline prices declined 5.2 cents per gallon of regular gasoline this week, and are down 16.6 cents a gallon from a month ago. The price dropped in Geneva, too. Last week, the best price in Geneva was $3.79—and it was 3.87 two weeks ago. This week, it's $3.69 at Fuller's, Mobile and Citgo. It's even better in St. Charles, where three gas stations were recording $3.53 as the lowest price per gallon of regular gasoline in the Tri-Cities on Wednesday, according to Illinois Gas Prices. AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed that nationally, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline late Wednesday was $3.519 a gallon, down slightly from $3.522 a day earlier and down from $3.572 a week ago.
