Mike Simon, co-owner of The Little Traveler in downtown Geneva, announced this morning that the name of the 91-year-old store will be changing beginning this week to better reflect the true nature of the store. Though its ownership, merchandise, and staff will be the same, its name will now be “The Big Traveler.” “We decided that, after all these years, it would be a good idea to have the name of the store more accurately reflect what our store is,” said Simon, “There’s not much that’s little about us anymore.” "The only change that will be evident to the public, besides the name change itself, will be a modest redesign of the store’s logo," Simon says “The cherub (the little boy) on our logo has been redesigned slightly. A year ago, Simon announced the closing of the Fashion Walk shops, "to the collective worry of the community," the city newsletter said. Work for lower taxes (keep an eye on local taxing bodies - schools, parks, city, library, etc.) and your businesses will be …   more ›
