Saint Medallions, Jewelry Stolen From Display Cases of Third Street Stores

More than $1,400 in medallions and jewelry are taken in separate incidents, from display cases in Pax Vobiscum and Irish Sisters.

You have to wonder if there's a special ring in Dante's Inferno for anyone who steals saint medallions or Celtic pendants during the Christmas season. Two separate incidents in this week's Geneva Police Department reports involved someone taking valuables from display cases of Third Street businesses. At least one of the display cases was confirmed to have been locked. Retail Theft—Someone took seven silver saint medallions valued at $49.99 each from Pax Vobiscum in the Berry House shops, 227 S. Third St., sometime between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, Geneva police reports said. The medallions were kept in a locked display case. They included Saint Camillus, Saint Catherine, two Saint Denis, a Saint David, Saint Jason and one other unknown …
