4 Vikings Sign Letters of Intent to Play College Sports

The signing ceremony took place Wednesday in the athletic foyer outside of the athletic office.

Two Geneva baseball players, a basketball player and a gymnast signed letters of intent Wednesday for athletic scholarships at the college level. The signees are: Jordan Touro, who will play baseball at South Alabama University Andy Honiotes, who signed to play baseball for Miami of Florida Sami Pawlak, who won a basketball scholarship at the University of Nebraska-Omaha Anna Corbett, a gymnast who will continue her athletic career at Western Michigan University. The four Geneva High School students took part in a brief ceremony Wednesday in the foyer outside of the Athletic Department office.   SOURCE: Geneva High School

19 More Geneva Athletes Sign to Play College Sports

In addition to some of Geneva's big-name athletes—Matt Williams at NIU, Ashley Santos at Marquette and Ben Rogers at Cornell, to name a few—these 19 will continue their athletic careers in college.

Geneva High School held a signing ceremony for senior student athletes on Tuesday, May 8. The following athletes will continue to play at the college level during the 2012-13 school year. These Geneva athletes are in addition to those who have previously had signing events. Not present:   Geneva High School Assistant Athletic Director David Carli contributed to this report.
