Ballet Dancer Katie Martin of CW's 'Breaking Pointe' Coming to State Street Dance Studio
More dance celebrities coming to Geneva!
State Street Dance Studio, 9 N. Fourth St. in Geneva, will be welcoming Breaking Pointe’s Katie Martin from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, for a ballet master class. Martin, from Grayslake, attended Point Park University, and has danced with Boston Ballet and Ballet West. She just wrapped up filming for the hit docudrama on the CW, Breaking Pointe, following dancers from the leading Midwest ballet company, Ballet West. Breaking Pointe goes behind the stage curtain for an intense look at one of the most competitive ballet companies in the country, Ballet West, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
