Karl K. Smith, 45, of St. Charles, formerly of Batavia and North Aurora, passed away January 7, 2013 following injuries from an automobile accident. He was born March 3, 1967 in Geneva, IL the son of Gordon and Ruth (nee Krautmacher) Smith.  He is survived by his wife Cheryl (nee Westphal); two children Rhian and Jack Smith; three brothers Kurt A.
