December Home Sales Look Good in Geneva
The number of home sales in Geneva during the month of December 2012 went up from a year ago—and the median price did, too.
The 23 detached, single-family homes sold in Geneva during December are three more than were sold in December 2011, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors. In addition, the median price of homes sold in December ($325,000) was 16.3 percent higher than the median price of homes sold in December 2011 ($279,500). That's especially good news after the October 2012 numbers, when the median home-sale price in Geneva was almost 24 percent lower than the previous year.
