The signing ceremony took place Wednesday in the athletic foyer outside of the athletic office.
Two Geneva baseball players, a basketball player and a gymnast signed letters of intent Wednesday for athletic scholarships at the college level. The signees are: Jordan Touro, who will play baseball at South Alabama University Andy Honiotes, who signed to play baseball for Miami of Florida Sami Pawlak, who won a basketball scholarship at the University of Nebraska-Omaha Anna Corbett, a gymnast who will continue her athletic career at Western Michigan University. The four Geneva High School students took part in a brief ceremony Wednesday in the foyer outside of the Athletic Department office. SOURCE: Geneva High School

Vikings win back-to-back conference championships.
With an 8-0 win over conference rival Elgin Tuesday night, the Geneva varsity soccer team successfully defended its title as Upstate Eight River Division Conference champion. Michaela Loebel started off the scoring and was followed by goals by Catherine Allon (2), Amanda Lulek, Caitrin Griffin, Megan Kozlow, Ally Serra and an Elgin own-goal. Perhaps the key to Geneva’s conference title was a 4-2 victory the previous Tuesday over conference rival Batavia in a steady rain. Scoring for the Vikings were Michaela Loebel (2), Amanda Lulek and Molly Axen. Since entering the Upstate Eight conference two years ago, the Vikings have never lost to a conference opponent.
