After four weeks of being open to the public, all three levels of this bar, restaurant, and live music venue are now open to music fans across the Chicago suburbs. EvenFlow’s grand opening will include a trip down memory lane through two distinct decades. The Shagadelics will be playing the first set with their funky tunes from the '70s. For the second set, The Breakfast Club will take the stage to play the radical sounds from the '80s. It's been a long wait, but it looks like Geneva has a tenant for the former State Bank building at the high-profile corner of State and Third. EvenFlow Music & Spirits is already starting renovation work for the interior of the building that once was home to the restaurant known for its cuisine and its address: 302 West. The new, music venue is scheduled to be open this summer, with a focus on live entertainment. Several unconfirmed reports say the 302 West State Street building might be leased to a restaurant and music purveyor.
Several Patch readers have called or e-mailed on this Valentine's Day to say that the heart of Geneva has a strong new beat. Sources say Evenflow Music & Spirits LLC is taking a look at either leasing or purchasing the former 302 West building at the southwest corner of State Street and Third Street in downtown Geneva. Nick Mercadante is the owner and assistant general manager of the company, which some say is interested in putting a bar and grill or entertainment club at the former State Bank building, which more recently was the home for 302 West and other restaurants.
