Geneva Police Arrest Batavia 17-Year-Old for Harvesting Marijuana

A Batavia teenager is facing serious cannabis charges after he was caught leaving railroad property with a mesh sack full of harvested marijuana. Geneva police arrested Devin Alsip, 17, of Batavia on charges of cannabis delivery between 30 and 500 grams, cannabis possession and unlawful trespass to railroad property after an incident around around 7:25 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 500 block of South Randall Road, reports said. Around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28, officers responded to a report of a lost bicycle on Randall Road. “Upon arrival, I located the bicycle on the side of the road, and the owner (Alsip, Devin M.) walked up to the bike from the grassy slope on the west side of the bridge," reports said.
