Geneva Police Make 3 Arrests on Marijuana-Related Charges

Geneva police reports collected this week included three marijuana-related charges. Possession of Marijuana, Drug Equipment—Geneva police arrested Daniel Miller, 23, of Geneva on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana between 2.5 and 10 grams around 7:25 p.m. Oct. 11 at the water treatment plant at 3739 Keslinger Road, reports said. According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Miller had 5.7 grams of marijuana in his possession as well as a ceramic smoking pipe. He has a court date of Nov. 6 at the Kane County Branch Court. Possession of Drug Equipment—Geneva police arrested Arsanios Assad, 18, of Carol Stream on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia around 8:28 a.m. Oct. 11 at a gas station …

Police Blotter: Violations of Cannabis Control Act and Disorderly Conduct Charges

Here's a roundup of controlled substance violations and disorderly conduct citations collected from the Geneva Police Department.  Violation of Controlled Substance Act—Geneva police arrested John Griffin, 53, of Geneva on charges of violation of the Controlled Substance Cct and cited him for public intoxication around 2:30 a.m. June 14 on a sidewalk in the 600 block of East State Street, reports said. Police observed Griffin “staggering from side to side” walking east on the sidewalk in the 400 block of East State Street at around 2:18 a.m., reports said.
