NFL, Geneva Vikings Team Up for 'A Crucial Catch' Fight Against Breast Cancer
Students and faculty at Geneva High School organize a fundraising game night to raise critical funds and cancer awareness during the home game against Metea Valley High School on Friday, Oct. 12, for breast cancer prevention and early detection.
As the nation marks the annual National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, the American Cancer Society is partnering with the National Football League and high school football teams nationwide for a breast cancer awareness initiative called “A Crucial Catch: Annual Screening Saves Lives.” Joining other coaches from around the state, students and faculty at Geneva High School have organized a fundraising game night to raise critical funds and cancer awareness during the home game against Metea Valley High School on Friday, Oct. 12, for breast cancer prevention and early detection.
