Batavia Mayor Jeff Schielke Seeks Re-Election
This would be Schielke's ninth term in the city's top seat.
Batavia Mayor Jeff Schielke said on Monday that he's going to run for re-election next year, the Daily Herald reports. So far, Schielke is running unopposed. In Geneva, Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns has announced his intension to seek a fourth term. He is challenged so far by TaxFACTS advocate Bob McQuillan, who told the Kane County Chronicle last week that he would make a run for mayor.
