Batavia 7-Eleven Sells Winning Lotto Ticket Worth $7.2 Million—Did You Win?

This is the second 7-Eleven location in Batavia this year to sell a ticket worth millions.

A trip to a Batavia 7-Eleven this week helped someone become $7 million richer. The 7-Eleven at 336 East Wilson St. sold a winning lottery ticket worth $7.25 million, according to the Illinois Lottery website. A Quick Pick ticket sold in Batavia matched all six numbers in Monday’s regular Lotto game drawing. The winner has not stepped forward as of Tuesday afternoon, Wilson Street franchise owner Rick Niedfeldt told the Kane County Chronicle. These were the winning numbers: The extra shot number was 25. Niedfeldt has never sold a winning ticket worth so much—he hopes the winner is a Batavia resident, the Chronicle's story said.
