Mill Creek Students Second in Nationwide Quiz Bowl!
Mill Creek students put on their thinking caps and finish second in the nation among fifth-grade teams in America Answers 2012!
Twelve Mill Creek Elementary School students recently participated in a national Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl competition, and scored second in the nation among fifth grade teams, School District 304 reports. Mill Creek finished No. 2 out of 205 teams from 33 states that entered the fifth- and sixth-grade America Answers 2012 contest this year, and the top six fifth-grade teams will receive a trophy and ribbons. Thinking Cap Quiz Bowl is a scholastic, computer team competition consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions in the areas of math, geography, government, sports, spelling, science, literature, English, history, general information and fun trivia.
