Awesome 'Rural America' Art Exhibit at Geneva History Center

"A Celebration of Rural America" is a traveling exhibition of art during the late 1920s and '30s.

There's a terrific exhibit at the Geneva History Center right now, and a lot of folks haven't stopped in to see it yet. But you should. This is excellent. A Celebration of Rural America is a Blaire Murrah traveling exhibition of the most important movement in American art during the late 1920s and '30s. Included are original prints by three of the best known regionalists: Thomas Hart Benton, Grant Wood and John Steuart Curry. The exhibit is Chicago quality and Geneva priced. Admission $2 for Adults, Free for GHC Members and children under 12. Audio Tours Enjoy a short, guided audio tour of the exhibition with additional insight and explanation into the Regionalism art movement and the pivotal artists involved including Thomas Hart Benton, …
