Weekend Picks: Faculty Recital, American English, Basketball Double Header
A lot to choose from on Friday this week.
Three weekend picks for your consideration:
(1) One of my favorites, the Geneva Faculty Recital
You won't believe the level of talent of these faculty members. The recital will be held at a NEW LOCATION, The Geneva United Methodist Church, 211 S. Hamilton St., at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10. The cost is $5 /person or $15 for a family.
Unfortunately, it conflicts with another cool event ...
(2) A girls/boys basketball double-header
This is versus St. Charles North. The action starts at 7:15 p.m. at the contest gym at Geneva High School. Geneva boys just came off a big win at the United Center against Kaneland. Geneva girls are 11-3 overall.
