Film About Getting Out of the Economic Crisis


The award-winning documentary “Heist: Who Stole the American Dream and How Can We Get it Back?” will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva. The church is located at 110 S. 2nd Street in downtown Geneva. For more information, click here.


St. Mark's Shop, Dine & Find


Abundant Blessings – Shop, Dine & Find will be hosted by St. Mark’s Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at S. Sixth Ave., St. Charles. The holiday shopping event includes preferred vendors such as Silpada, Party Lite, Pampered Chef, Organic Soaps, Tastefully Simple, Beijo (and many more), fine handmade crafts, a silent auction extravaganza, bakery — sweets and treats, fresh floral arrangements and a declicious fall luncheon including sloppy joes, soups, chili and apple slices. Chanukah Party!


Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors are hosting a Chanukah party, and everyone's invited!

The party is from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Persinger Rec Center, 3507 Kaneville Road, Geneva.
