Week Ahead: Creche Luncheon at Geneva History Center

Also this week: It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Fox Valley Orchestra presents Christmas Fantasia and "Mary of Nazareth" at The Arcada.

If there are still any openings, you should make a reservations quickly for one of the two the creche luncheons at the Geneva History Center. It's great fun, a wonderful celebration of the season and the servers are excellent. :)

Geneva History Center Creche Luncheon

A celebration of the magnificent 18th century Neapolitan nativity set purchased by Kate Raftery of the Little Traveler where it was displayed each Christmas since 1930.

The Bencini Room is transformed both days with tables beautifully decorated by volunteers using their own dishes and lunch is served by local male “celebrities”.  The afternoon concludes with Christmas carols and a raffle to win unique Geneva items. Proceeds from the luncheons benefit the History Center and help in the ongoing restoration of the Créche.  Make your reservation now: Thursday, Dec. 12 or Saturday, Dec. 14.
