Vote for Jerry Korabik—One of the 60 Men Cooking
Last year a patron, this year he's a chef.
When he steps up Friday at the Kane County Fairgrounds, Jerry Korabik will be back cooking for his second year at "60 Men Who Cook."
At the first 60 Men Who Cook, he attended as a patron and had such a great time, he decided to sign up last year as a contestant representing his company, Savant. He is also a member of the , which is one of the non-profits this event is a fundraiser for.
Self-described as an occasional chef in the kitchen, who makes a lot of breakfast items, Jerry is a die-hard griller. Even the snow doesn’t dissuade him. Wonder if Jerry was out during the Blizzard of 2011 grilling?

For his dish, Jerry has chosen a Tempting Taco Dip for a couple of reasons. He is a big fan of Mexican dishes and it is a simple dish to make that works well when providing samples.
When asked why people should vote for him, Jerry says “I think they will enjoy the treat and will probably want to make it themselves … It is pretty easy to make.”

The Third Annual 60 Men Who Cook takes place on Friday, May 6, at Prairie Event Center at Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and samplings will begin at 6 p.m. Presale tickets are $30 (2 for $50); $35 at the door which includes samplings and voting.
Tickets are available at Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Fagans Graphic Design, Geneva History Center, The Paper Merchant and State Street Jewelers.
