Maladra's Eagle Scout Project Looks Great at the Geneva Library

David Maladra adds a brick edge to the sidewalk at the front of the Geneva Public Library.

The Geneva Public Library is the grateful benefactor of David Maladra’s Eagle Scout project.

Maladra suggested that they add a brick edge to the front sidewalk to make it look more attractive. This was always an area that suffered loss of grass over the winter due to use of salt to keep the sidewalks clear.

As part of the project, David organized getting the bricks and sand donated and recruited the workers to get the job done. He expects to complete all of the final requirements to receive his Eagle Scout award by this summer.
