Traffic Equipment Upgrades On Randall Road Set For Nov. 11-12

Expect delays at the Meijer entrance, Bricher, Fargo, Christina and Glen Eagle intersections.

The Kane County Division of Transportation will be performing traffic signal upgrades at several intersections on Randall Road, the city of Geneva reports.

Work is scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, and Tuesday, Nov. 12, weather permitting at the following Randall Road intersections:

  • Route 38 at the Meijer Entrance
  • Bricher Road
  • Fargo Boulevard
  • Christina Road
  • Glen Eagle Drive

Traffic signals will be temporarily out of service for about two to three hours at each location when work is taking place. Traffic flow will be controlled by the use of four-way stop signs when the traffic signals are being worked on at the intersections.

If bad weather is forecasted, the upgrades will be done as soon as weather and road conditions allow.

Motorists should expect long delays at these locations and are encouraged to find alternate routes of travel during this time.
