Western Avenue Resurfacing Continues Between South Street, Fabyan Parkway

Here's the latest on Geneva road construction projects.

The city of Geneva is keeping residents up to date on summer road construction projects.

There will be no street closings as work progresses, the city says.

Here's the latest as of Aug. 10, 2013:

Resurfacing work will take place between South Street and Fabyan Parkway through Aug. 16, 2013.

A new 10-inch main was installed at Stevens Street this week between First to Sixth streets. Additional road replacement and drainage improvements will continue into September.

Concrete removal began this week, and it is anticipated the process to remove and replace the surface will take an addtional two weeks.
