Expect Road Closures Near GHS for Summer 5K Wednesday, July 31

The Geneva Summer 5K will be held in the neighborhood surrounding the Geneva High School, beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31.

There will be road closures in the area to allow the runners to run on the roadway. The roadways affected are all west of Anderson Boulevard and north of West State Street. The roadways affected are: Gray Street, Maple Lane, Willow Lane, Logan Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Mckinley Avenue, Peyton Street, Stevens Street, Center Street and Ford Street.

The road closures should be short in duration, approximately an hour to an hour-and-a-half.

"Please use caution if you are traveling through this area as there will be many runners, event staff, and public safety personnel in the area," the Geneva Police Department advises.
