Ask Me A Computer or Technical Question!!

Hello Everyone!

I have been writing posts for this Patch blog for a little while now. Although I have not made them too consistent, I have tried to keep up with some sort of regular posting schedule. It does get hard at times however because not only do I post here, but I also have two other blogs that I try to keep up with. Not to mention regular work and business matters. Oh.. and yea.. that thing called a family as well.

I have been posting here as a way to try and get a bit more of a presence on the Patch because I had hoped that it would help to grow my computer repair business. This has proven to be a bit more difficult than I had imagined it would be at first. So, I have come up with another idea that might hopefully spur on a bit more traffic to these posts. I was thinking that (in addition to my other various postings) I would write a sort of question and answer column here on Patch. Of course this is not something that is sanctioned by the editors of Patch and I am in no way affiliated with them. I would just be doing this on my own Patch blog space. So.. here is how this could work.

People who are interested will make comments to this post and within that comment they would ask the question they want answered. Or they could just ask for me to explain how something works. I will review the comments and the requested questions and whichever one seems the most interesting or whichever one seems like it would help the most people is the one that I will choose. Whatever topic/question I choose will be the focus of my next posting on the Patch blog. I will write a very detailed article about the topic.

Now, what kinds of things can people ask about? Really anything technical. Anything about computers, cell phones, stereos, or really anything that works with electricity and has computer chips or a processor at its core. If for some reason more information is needed in order to answer the question, I will ask. Generally however any question asked about the above topics will be just fine and I will write the article within a week or less from when the question is chosen.

I hope this sounds like something the Patch community will enjoy and hopefully benefit from. Like I said, between my other blogs, my writing work, computer repair business, and everything else, I am really trying to grow my presence on the Patch in an effort to help generate more business for my computer repair project. We all work in order to make money, and this is what I do. I am just being honest about it and telling everyone here what my end goal is. This way there are no hidden motives or agendas and everyone knows what I am about. I always try to be as genuine as possible.

This computer question and answer posting project can work really well if the Patch community participates. And why not? If there are any questions that anyone has about those subjects go ahead and as. What do you have to lose?
