GHC Swedish Days Events & Concession Stand

Visit the Geneva History Center next week during Swedish Days and enjoy any and all of these happenings:

Fun for the whole family! GHC will host the LGB (Lehmann Gross Bahn) Model Train Club displaying many different facets of large-scale model railroading from decorating whimsically or authentically to wiring easy or ambitious track plans.  This club also displays at the Brookfield Zoo and Morton Arboretum.  Admission is $5/each, $3/GHC Members and children 12 and under and includes a scavenger hunt in the train display, and museum exhibitions, "Start With A Sketch," featuring cartoonists and illustrators connected to our community and "Greetings from Geneva," on Geneva's history.  GHC will be open extended hours from Tuesday, June 18 thru Friday, June 21, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Come hungry and visit our GHC Concession stand for a Walking Taco and Self-Guided Walking Tours of downtown Geneva's historic district.  Walking Tacos are a bag of Fritos cut open, top it off with taco meat, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and taco sauce - insert a spoon and take your taco on an historic walk.  Walking Tacos are $3 each or 2 for $5.00.  Self-Guided Tour books are $2 each.  Concessions are open Tuesday, June 18 thru Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 23, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until supplies last.
