Terry Emma: You Don't Want to Miss 'The Big Show'

Join us this weekend for hours of laughter, fun and great food, all in the name of Geneva's history.

Be sure to make your reservations today for The Demisemiseptcentennial Extravacaular - otherwise known as "The Big Show" that takes place this weekend.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a fun reenactment of the past 175 years of Geneva's history.

Sponsored by Miscella Real Estate and Jones, Lemon, Graham, LLP, the two-act play is a fundraiser for the Geneva History Center at the Underground Playhouse in Geneva including hors d'oeuvres and cash bar in the lower level of Urban Grille.

The pageant was written by Steve Lord, Eric Peter Schwartz, Will Burdin and Russ Devereaux in a reader's theatre style.  The idea was conceived when fond memories were recalled of the .

I have attended several practices and especially love the song to help remember and pronounce the tongue-twisting title "demisemiseptcentennial" with references to Demi Moore, semicircle and September.
