Terry Emma: Community Photo Contest Winners Will Be Announced Thursday!

The Geneva History Center held a this summer and will announce the winners at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in our gallery lobby.

Forty-two entries were submitted, each capturing something unique in Geneva. A jury of professional photographers evaluated the entries and selected the top three photos as well as 25 to be on display in the .

First place will receive $100, second place $50 and third place $25. The contest is sponsored by the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission and Fox Valley Sudden Values.

Come in and take a look at the top 25 images of Geneva and "Who Was Sadie Cooksey?" girl's school exhibition which will both be on display until Nov. 5 with free admission.
