History Center Receives A Precious Gift—300 American Silver Eagle Coins

Geneva History Center member presented a gift of silver coins as a donation.

Gifts come in all shapes and sizes. During the holidays a Geneva History Center member (who asked to remain anonymous) presented us with a gift that is not only precious but very generous indeed—a box containing 300 American Silver Eagles and 10 Canadian Silver Maple uncirculated coins.

The donor said they were "pleased and proud to hand-deliver the items as a contribution to our fundraising efforts."

They didn't have the liquid assets at this time to write us a check, so they decided to give us the coins as their donation this year. On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff of the , we couldn't be more appreciative.

Jay at The Gold Mine in St. Charles turned the coins into a check for $9,300 to the Geneva History Center!

Just another example of the wonderful community we serve and a clever way to contribute. The Geneva History Center is very lucky to have such wonderful supporters.
