Geneva History Center Will Host Day Camp if Strike Proceeds

Geneva History Center prepared to offer GHC Day Camp if District 304 strike proceeds.

The Geneva History Center is prepared to host a GHC Day Camp - A Day in Victorian Geneva, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15 for 3rd - 5th graders in the event the District 304 strike proceeds.

A Day in Victorian Geneva offers students the opportunity to discover and experience what life was truly like in the Victorian Era through period crafts and games, creating period clothing, discovering Victorian architecture in Geneva, cooking period recipes, and more.

The day includes a special candy-making demonstration at Graham's Chocolates and hot chocolate at Graham's 318.  This program also fulfills all five steps required for the Girl Scouts Junior "Playing with History" badge.

Space is limited to 15 participants at the Geneva History Center, 113 South Third Street, in the heart of Geneva's downtown historic district.  Students should bring a sack lunch.  Registration is $25 per student at genevahistorycenter.org along with a required registration form.  For more information contact the Geneva History Center, 630-232-4951.
