Final Days to Visit Rural American Art Exhibition

This is the last week to visit "A Celebration of Rural America" traveling art exhibition at the Geneva History Center.

This week is your last chance to visit "A Celebration of Rural America" at the Geneva History Center.  "A Celebration of Rural America" is a Blaire Murrah traveling exhibition of the most important movement in American art during the late 1920s and 30s. Included are original prints by three of the best known Regionalists, Thomas Hart Benton, Grant Wood and John Steuart Curry.

Admission $2/each, free for GHC Members.

Enjoy a short, guided audio tour of the exhibition with additional insight and explanation into the Regionalism art movement. Tours are approximately 30 minutes long and may have short wait periods for the next available tour. Audio Tour price $4, free for GHC Members.

There is also a fun photo backdrop of the Peck Farm House with props for visitors to dress up and pose to create their own "Geneva Gothic" in honor of Grant Wood's famous painting "American Gothic."

We have extended the date to this Saturday, November 3 as the last day this exhibition will be open to the public.
