Your Support Helped Many - Thank You!

Learn about how your support of Mothers Club of Geneva made a difference this holiday season. There is more we can do together in 2013.

Mothers Club of Geneva would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts this holiday season. Whether you shopped our 38th annual Arts and Craft Show or voted for the giving tree we had on display at the Geneva History Center, your generosity along with the giving of members allowed us to pay it forward in truly rewarding ways.

Gift cards totaling $4,500 were distributed to 45 families in need throughout the Geneva 304 Community Unit School District benefitting students from elementary through high school. In addition, wish lists for 15 children were satisfied with gifts bought, wrapped and delivered in time for holiday celebrations.

Mothers Club also made a $300 donation to CASA Kane County, a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system.

We deeply appreciate the support you provide. It allows us to continue working toward our mission: improving the lives of women, children and families in the Fox Valley.

Please keep us in mind throughout the year. Consider attending a monthly meeting. Our next one will be held at 7 p.m.  Jan. 10 at the Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road, and will feature a discussion about the psychology of dieting.  Our annual fashion show is Sunday, April 14. Gather some friends together and join us for what is always a great afternoon of food, fashion, and fantastic raffle prizes. You need not be a member to attend.  For more information call 630-345-4066, visit mothersclubofgeneva.org or email info@mothersclubofgeneva.org.
