Visit a Swedish Days Food Booth for a Good Cause

Swedish Days are coming June 19 through June 24, and that's a good thing, for food, folks, fun ... and nonprofit organizations.

The that are found around downtown Geneva during are run by non-profit organizations. For many, the monies raised from the patronage of these booths, during the week, is the largest and perhaps only fundraiser these groups do. 

This year, 14 nonprofits are raising funds for more than 38 charities, both local and national. They include Lazarus House, Hesed House, , Living Well Cancer Research, Feed My Starving Children, Mutual Ground, Salvation Army, Drug Prevention, NE Illinois Special Olympics, scholarships, mission trips and more than 20 others.

The nonprofits participating are , , , , , Geneva Republican Party, , Hearts of Hope, Help, Illinois Norsk Rosemalers, Knights of Columbus, , and Viking Service Organization.
