Great, now we have two Chicago Cubs minor league teams within 50 miles of each other.

Just means the Cubs are changing their affiliation from Peoria to Kane County. They'll get another affiliation soon. Before the Cubs, Peoria was affiliated with the Cardinals. Albert Pujols was a Midwest League All Star for the Peoria Chiefs. Affiliations seem to change in August, if they change at all.

The two teams competing might actually be a good game to watch, through with all the minor league players on the Cubs, it might be hard for them to remember which team they are currently playing for.

I've always told Cubs fans "the Cougars are my Cubs": a nice place to watch my favorite pro sport, meet friends and neighbors, enjoy the concessions (better at Elfstrom). Root root root for the Cougars, but does anyone get all that upset if they lose? Neither have played in a World Series in my lifetime.

if they do arrange to transfer the Class A Cubs to Geneva, be preparedto see the cost of a game increase along with other items...
